Under the leadship of the State Council, China Everbright Group started to help Danjiangkou City and Zhushan County, Hubei Province from 1995 to April 2002 and Xinhua County, Hunan Province afterwards.
Up to June 2009, the Group has donated RMB14,765,200, and introducing foreign capital RMB14,765,200 to fund 50 poverty relieving projects.
